Together forever

Suzanne & Kornee are both completely in love with each other and Italy. To make sure that their parents and all their family and friends could be at their wedding, they decided to get married in the Netherlands, on the beautiful Ravesteyn estate.

With the ruins of the old castle in the background, the beautiful garden that was in bloom, the all guests dressed casually Italian, the sun shining intensely and the Fiat 500 at the entrance, we imagined ourselves in Italy, but then in their backyard.

Kornee, told me that he would love a few words of Italian in their ceremony, so I recited a self-made poem: “Insieme per sempre” (together forever), which was the theme of their wedding. He even had this beautiful promise embroidered into his jacket.

I had the words of the poem printed in both Dutch and Italian on a flyer and placed them on the chairs of the guests to make sure that everyone could read and understand it. Fortunately, they were also good to use as a fan because the temperatures were also really Italian!

It was an incredibly beautiful wedding and a wonderful bridal couple in a great location! I was so lucky to be their wedding officiant!
